  • When shopping for food, you should start by looking at the food labels. You should look for obvious and hidden culprits - meaning the ingredients which you want to avoid. Before long, this check will become routine and be done quickly.

  • Also applicable to the intake of medication: Verify the active ingredients and additives or let your doctor check them for any incompatible ingredients.

  • Inform yourself in health food stores about products with a "complete" ingredient list, in order to minimize the danger of consuming incompatible ingredients.

  • Favour foods which are not processed, for example whole meat instead of sausages.

The paradox: You might feel even worse than before after the diet modification. The so-called initial aggravation of symptoms is a good sign. It signalizes that the body has started detoxifying itself. Don't be discouraged because of this and continue avoiding the incompatible foods. As a general rule, these symptoms subside after no more than 10 days.

Tips and Tricks Many healthy food stores or farmers markets offer home delivery (for example, different meats and sausages, bread, fruit and vegetables, etc.) this way you can avoid the incompatible foods from the beginning. Plus you can save time.

2. A complete circle: Rotation diet with the compatible foods
